Deleting files from your temporary directories.
To delete files from your Temporary Directories we need to lay a little ground work.
-Open Explorer
-Click Tools
-Click Folder Options
-Click View Tab
-Uncheck Hide Extensions of known file types and make sure Show hidden files and folders is selected.
Now we can move on to deleting Temp directory.
-Browse to your Profile. Usually C:\documents and settings\(Your User Name)
-Click Application Data
-Click Temp
-Delete everything out of that folder
Some files will say that they are in use. Bypass those files and keep deleting everything else.
There is another Temp directory that is located at C:\Temp that can be cleaned out as well.
