Today's lesson is slowing up that old/outdated computer of yours.<br /><br />Deleting files from your temporary directories.<br /><br />To delete files from your Temporary Directories we need to lay a little ground work.<br /><br />-Open Explorer<br />-Click Tools<br />-Click Folder Options<br />-Click View Tab<br />-Uncheck Hide Extensions of known file types and make sure Show hidden files and folders is selected.<br /><br />Now we can move on to deleting Temp directory.<br /><br />-Browse to your Profile. Usually C:\documents and settings\(Your User Name)<br />-Click Application Data<br />-Click Temp<br />-Delete everything out of that folder<br /><br />Some files will say that they are in use. Bypass those files and keep deleting everything else.<br /><br />There is another Temp directory that is located at C:\Temp that can be cleaned out as well.<br /><br />Rocky Mountain Printer Repair, Inc. is not responsible for any damage that might occur from completing these procedures.
